The Wall Street Journal highlights some new fast food items being rolled out by major chains that are easy to eat while driving, ie, McDonald's Chicken McBites, Pizza Hut's P'Zolo's and Popeye's new Rip'n Chick'n from its "ip'ns" menu (foods that can be dipped). Apparently fast-food consumers are increasingly less interested in sitting down for an actual meal as they are in grabbing a bucket of something bite-sized that they can easily scarf while on the road. In fact, 17% of restaurant meals ordered in the U.S. are eaten in cars. Oh dear god is that depressing. Read the full article here.
