Tips on Tap at the Soon-to-Open Tip Tap Room

Swordfish tips are on the menu of Brian Poe's soon-to-open Tip Tap Room
Tip Tap Room is getting closer to opening in Beacon Hill. Sources say the chef-owner, Brian Poe, who made a name for himself at the Rattlesnake, is aiming for a June 18 unveiling.

The menu includes appetizers ($9-$13) like fig stuffed with pancetta and blue cheese; and lobster tips in basil butter. There will also be, natch, 14 different tips ($12-$17), from steak, swordfish and lamb to tofu, elk and rabbit. Here’s a tip: come hungry and come often to get a variety.
