Three New Brunch Options in Boston

Yes, it's pizza for "breakfast" at Ducali in the North End

Summer time is brunch time, and we have three new mid-day weekend meals for you to scope out. Take a look:

The Painted Burro: On June 24 this Mexican in Davis Square will introduce a Burro Brunch, a menu of classic Latin dishes with a twist. Among the dishes are Huevos Rancheros with Serrano ham, queso fresco, refried charro beans and salsa de la casa; Yucatan Meatloaf, which is two fried eggs on top of a spicy ground sirloin loaf stuffed with chorizo, ham, chicharron, green olives and toasted almonds, and glazed with guava ketchup; and Mexican chipotle chocolate chip pancakes made with Taza chocolate (11 AM-2 PM, Sunday; 617-776-0005).

Ducali Pizzeria & Bar: This North End pizzeria launched its Calcio Brunch, complete with pizza for breakfast - mmmm - June 10. There’s the Pizza Ducale with potato, pancetta, mozzarella and egg, along with other breakfast pizzas; frittatas, and the pizzelle – waffles topped with mascarpone, honey and strawberries (10:30 AM-3 PM, Saturday and Sunday; 617-742-4144).

Odyssey Cruises: Looking for something a little more formal? You’ll find it aboard the Odyssey, which features a Sunday Champagne and Chocolate Brunch cruise. This meal includes savory items, bubbly (of course) and a chocolate fountain for dessert (11 AM boarding; cruise 12-2 PM; $57.90 per person; 866-307-2469; odysseycruises.com).
