Starting tomorrow, June 14, Supper’s Mitch Prensky is giving diners another opportunity to sample his famous housemade hot dog. Previously only available during brunch, the 100% pork shoulder dog is now offered at Thursday happy hour in miniature form for $5 each. Though the weekday version is half the size of its weekend cousin, this is no pop-able bite. The bacon-wrapped meat is served on a house-baked bun with kraut, BBQ onions and beer mustard, alongside a handful of fried pickles, making it a rather serious undertaking. Head to South Street and pair this flavor bomb with discounted beer, wine and cocktails from 5–7 PM to start your Thursday evening off right (215-592-8180).
