Wolfgang Puck talks about
the upcoming Spago closure and renovations in a short little
video, saying that his Beverly Hills flagship will be a more "modern classic" style with light-colored walls, great artwork, skylights in the dining room, and a new roof over the patio. Not to mention the complete overhaul of the menu, which means a lot of his old classics will go away (bye-bye, smoked salmon pizza). So why turn everything on its head? "I really think when I feel it's time to cahnge, it's time to change," Puck says. "I can't wait for the guests to tell me. You really have to follow your instincts, and it's what I think we should do." Spago closes on July 9 for summer renovations and will reopen in the fall. [
