The “rock star” chefs we teased about who will be working the grills will be Adam Dulye (Monk's Kettle and the forthcoming Abbots Cellar), Jason Fox (Commonwealth), Dennis Lee (Namu Gaji), Ian Marks (Beast and the Hare), Ryan Pollnow (flour + water), Mike Selvera (Bar Crudo), Arthur Wall (Garcon!) and Blair Warsham (graffEats). Capping off the eats will be an ice cream station from Mr. & Mrs. Miscellaneous. For the booze hounds, Speakeasy Brewery will host a cash bar on site.
Confirmed acts so far include live performances by the Dodos, Pillowfight - featuring Dan the Automator, Emily Wells and Kid Koala, Craft Spells, Taken by Trees, plus sets from DJ’s: Snacky Tunes, Nanosaur and Chad Salty.
August 4; noon 2-5 PM at Speakeasy Brewery, 1195 Evans Ave.; the event is open to all ages, $60 for general admission, which includes a taste from each participating chef and access to all the afternoon’s live performances; $85 for VIP tickets which grants you early entrance to the festival at noon, a fish butchering demonstration for the Bar Crudo guys, plus an hour of free Speakeasy Beer, and a special DJ set by Snacky Tunes.
If still available, additional tickets will be sold at the door the day of for an additional fee. Bear in mind the party happens rain or shine. Get your tickets.
