Oyster Happy Hour at Astor Room, Tiki Drinks at the Museum

Astoria's Astor Room just launched a pretty sweet deal for the oyster lovers out there. Starting tomorrow night and going on every Wednesday throughout the summer, diners can enjoy unlimited oysters with Stella from 5 to 7 PM for only $15. The bivalves come from Long Island - and the deal should leave you with plenty of cash left over if you want to hang around the eatery for dinner (if you have room from gobbling down all of those oysters that is).

The American Museum of Natural History is where you go to see dinosaur bones or dioramas of cool animals, but who knew that tiki drinks were also on the docket? The museum hosts a series of talks dubbed Global Kitchen, and the next one will feature Jeff "Beachbum" Berry looking into the history of tiki drinks in America. Nui Nuis, Mai Tais, and Hawaiian Rooms will be served, and if you show up in a Hawiann print shirt, you will not be judged. The chat is on June 13 at 6:30 PM and is $35. Get info here.
