If you're anything like us, you've been spending the last three or so hours gazing out the window of your office dreaming of what you're going to do this weekend. Well, to distract ourselves from all that staring, we put together a few suggestions that may strike your fancy. Get plannin':

Brew at the Brooklyn Waterfront Beer Festival 
On Saturday, June 16, a patch of land on the Brooklyn Waterfront with gorgeous views of Manhattan will play host to this craft beer tasting, which promises sips from dozens of beer makers. There are two tasting sessions available, one in the afternoon starting at 1:30PM and another in the evening starting at 7PM (opt for the VIP tickets to get in an hour early on both counts). Tickets range from $55 to $135 depending on the level of access you want - pick them up and get more info here.


Eat This

Freedom Rangers Chicken at The Standard Grill 
Chef Dan Silverman at The Standard Grill is dishing out some premium quality cluckers on his menu at this Meatpacking District restaurant. The eatery is getting deliveries of Freedom Rangers chickens, which hotelier André Balazs raises on his farm in Upstate New York. The restaurant is seasoning these broiler birds with crushed fennel seeds, sea salt and espelette pepper and then pan-roasting them with Balazs-grown garlic and thyme.

Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc Ice Pops 
If you're not feeling like hitting the town this weekend, why not take on a DIY project? Like making alcoholic ice pops.
