We love when big media throws a spotlight on some of our hidden-gem neighborhoods. This weekend, the
New York Times discovers Atwater Village and some of its great restaurants, mentioning longtime favorites
Canele and
Tam O'Shanter Inn, plus newbies
Proof Bakery and
Golden Road Brewing. But we think they missed a few, like the super friendly
Village Bakery,
Bigfoot Lodge and
Baracoa, and they didn't even mention the wonderful
