Num Pang Selling a Dan Kluger/Jean-Georges 'Wich Starting Tomorrow

Cambodian sandwich slinger Num Pang is the best 'which shop in town according to our 2012 New York Restaurants Survey, and that was before they stared recruiting top-name NYC chefs to come in and develop limited-time-only menu items for their customers. The specials are meant to raise money for charity, with $6 of each $9.25 sale going to a charity of the chef's choice. Mario Batali was recently enlisted for this "Guest Chefs Give Back" program, and now it's Dan Kluger and Jean-Georges Vongerichten's turn.

Their sandwich, pictured above, is chicken salad with Thai basil, jalapenos, chili mayo and lime. It's served on a semolina baguette and topped with crispy chicken skin and cashew butter. The item will be on the menu starting tomorrow and will be available through July 12. Proceeds will be split between two charities, with half going to The Edible Schoolyard Project and the other half going to The Double H Ranch. It will be available at both shops, we so know what we're having for lunch.
