Over on the Upper West Side, pastry chef Pichet Ong has announced that he's now executive pastry chef at Sugar and Plumm, a bakery and chocolate shop on the UWS, which is opening later this summer. Offerings at the shop include chocolate-chunk cookies and macarons, and Ong plans to introduce items like a giant homemade raspberry apple pop-tart.
