Movie-and-a-Dinner Date Nights

Watch An American in Paris at the Boston Harbor Hotel's Friday night movie series.

Nothing like dinner, drinks and a movie. Two venues that combine the two are Regal Beagle’s Monday Movie Night and the Boston Harbor Hotel’s Friday night dinner-and-a-movie series.

The Regal Beagle in Coolidge Corner features specialty cocktails - good guy vs. bad guy creations -to match the movie du jour. For instance, Monday, July 2, catch The Professionals and check out No Women No Children vs. Eeeeveryyyonnnnne cocktails. On July 9, it’s Point Break and Tikeanu Zombie vs. Wisdom of Bhodi. July 16, it’s Willow with Small & Mighty vs. Twisted Mother. The bar menu is also available. Movies start at 10 PM (617-739-5151).

Each summer the Boston Harbor Hotel features live music, dining and movies on the terrace of Rowes Wharf Sea Grille overlooking Boston Harbor. Friday night is movie night now through August 31, when flicks are viewed outdoors on a big screen. You can enjoy dinner or drinks at the Sea Grille or just find a spot on the stairs that overlook the screen. Upcoming movies include June 29: The Magnificent Seven; July 6: Yankee Doodle Dandy; July 13: An American in Paris; July 20: On the Waterfront; July 27: Jaws.
