More Donuts from Glazed and Infused, Now at The Purple Pig

Tourists  stumble upon a treat at the opening of the newest Glazed and Infused location
Glazed and Infused expands is El-adjacent donut empire with a third location on Michigan Avenue near the Grand Red Line stop. Operating out of The Purple Pig, the newest location is open from 8 AM to 10:30 AM every day - catering to the morning commuters. Its proximity to the hog-centric restaurant means the maple bacon long johns will be a popular option.

Our extensive research of the growing Chicago doughnut scene has "forced us" to sample a few of their flavors. The menu is divided into cake raised and specialty. For a coffee companion we recommend the old-fashioned, and for the raised variety, the raspberry glazed made with homemade raspberry jam makes for a sweet teat. For the ultimate indulgence, try the the chocolate4 - a chocolate cake doughnut, with fudge filling, chocolate ganache and streusel topping - which tastes like an over-the-top birthday cake.

The next location will add the Brown to the list of lines serviced by Glazed and Infused. Just in time for summer, a sugary grab-and-go breakfast is increasingly unavoidable.
