Met on Main in Nantucket opens its doors today at 38 Main Street on Nantucket. The restaurant, serving eclectic fare, has opened in the space formerly occupied by Even Keel Café. It’s also the locale of the former Sweet Shop, where MET owner Kathy Sidell held her very first job.
Met on Main is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering homemade muffins and a build-your-own pancake bar for breakfast, oversized salads and sandwiches (including the famous MET burger) for lunch, and dinner dishes that encompass Asian, Mexican, Polynesian and American flavors. The executive chef is Erik Stenfors, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
Guests can also enjoy cocktails on the patio, and soft-serve ice cream comes in hibiscus and strawberry, beach plum and lychee flavors.
Met on Main will be open eight months of the year, seven days a week, 7:30 AM-1 AM
