You missed the BEST PLACE. DOG HAUS in Pasadena.
ReplyDeleteBuns are amazing- hawaiian bread.
Everything super fresh love the Reservoir Dog!!!
%5.95 a deal plus they make crispy tater tots. Getting hungry already!
Dog Haus in Pasadena should be on the list!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. How did Dog Haus not even make the list? I'd take Dog Haus over Slaw Dogs every time.
ReplyDeleteHow about Pinks in Hollywood and Mustards in Long Beach?????
ReplyDeleteThese are the top 10 rated hot dog places from the Zagat guide, based on food rating. I agree that Dog Haus is great, and it's in the guide but not rated yet, so it didn't appear in the top 10. Pink's is #11. A good reminder to vote for your favorites! And thanks for telling us about them here.

ReplyDeleteANY place OTHER than coney dog, their chili uses organ meats how GROSS is that? The casings on the dogs do NOT dissolve even after chewing...YUCK!!
ReplyDeleteIt might surprise some, but five Guys has a fantastic Hot Dog. I go for the dogs as often as for the burgers.
ReplyDeleteAs a former New Yorker, I still favor Sabrett's hot dogs over most in LA and was delighted to find them, served up in a steamed bun with kraut or Sabrett onion sauce, at New York Bagel and Deli, 2216 Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica. They also sell them uncooked by the pound.
