Jason Bond of Bondir in Cambridge has put together a "Modern Farmhouse" meal for his James Beard House dinner happening Wednesday, June 27. The evening starts with six hors d’oeuvres then moves into a five-course meal paired with wine. The menu includes roasted vegetable consommé with smoked foie gras; calamint cavatelli with seared snap peas and mousseron mushrooms; pasture-raised RedBro chicken with garlic scapes; and red wine and strawberry semifreddo with angel food cake, plus other goodies, for dessert.
