Tonight, they are hosting an uber-exclusive event after the first of two sold-out concerts at Congress Theater. The best part? It’s open to the public!
Tickets will be available for $20 at the door of Ada St. starting at 10:30 PM. They will be distributed on a first-come first-serve basis. Only the first 100 people will join two of Foster's people, band members Mark Pontius and Cubbie Fink, as they guest DJ at 11:30 PM.
In addition to their own songs, which acted as the soundtrack to last summer, they will have access to Ada St’s extensive vinyl collection. Half of all proceeds from this event contribute to Foster the People’s Do Good Project, which supports local charities.
In Chicago, they support Music Works Program, a South Side initiative which provides music business education to children ages 10-14. Impacting over one hundred students, the program empowers children by teaching them how to let their voice be heard through music.
The price of the ticket includes one cocktail. We hope you can dance in those pumped up kicks, because the recently opened Ada St. backyard is the place to be tonight.
