| The Heirloom Truck at Silverlake Wine |
On Sunday, June 10, Timothy Abell - the chef behind the popular market-to-wheels Flatiron Truck - debuts The Other Door Dining Society, his new pop-up restaurant at the Other Door in North Hollywood. He'll be there at least once a month, with visiting chefs by his side contributing to the menus. The inaugural five-course menu features heirloom tomatoes with basil and puff pastry; organic beets, hazelnuts, watercress and mint; duck breast with summer stone fruit and chives; pulled pork ravioli with bacon-tomato jam; and foie gras torchon with angel food cake, wild strawberries and aged balsamic.
