The cocktail party takes place in the Koch Gallery among the Renaissance and Baroque paintings, where you can purchase tapas-style bites by Bravo, the museum’s upscale restaurant, and signature cocktails at the bar. There’s either a band or DJ, and tonight the April Hall Trio plays.
In July and August, First Fridays turns into an every-Friday affair. All other months, it’s the first Friday of the month (5:30-9:30 PM; free with museum admission, though cash for drinks and food; 617-369-3474).
