Eat This, Drink This, Do This: Los Angeles Weekend Planner

Roasting at Tender Greens Hollywood
Do This: Eat All Your Animals
There are two whole-animal feasts this weekend - and weekend adjacent. On Sunday, June 24, Tender Greens Hollywood will roast a lamb from ReRide Ranch for a patio bbq. There's lamb and so much more: pig's tongue with grabiche, arancini with lamb bolognese, oven-roasted king salmon, and a slew of fresh salads and desserts, all served family-style. Cost is $40 per person, and includes craft brews from El Segundo Brewing Co. RSVP to angie@tendergreensfood.com (6290 W. Sunset Blvd.; 323-382-0380).

Keep the fun rolling on Monday, when chef Greg Daniels will roast whole suckling pig at Haven Gastropub + Brewery in Pasadena. Other porky goodness includes porchetta di testa, rillettes, and several sides. Cost is $30 per person for food only (drinks and tip are extra), and proceeds benefit KCRW (42 De Lacy Ave.; 626-768-9555).

Drink This: Juice It Up
Keep your system healthy and happy with Moon Juice's new summer concoctions like pineapple, cucumber, jalapeno; watermelon, tomato and lime; or cold-pressed almond milk with turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom and raw wildflower honey (507 Rose Ave., Venice).

Do This: Take the New Expo Line
Now that the Expo Line officially stops at Washington and National boulevards, go Metro and explore Downtown Culver City. Grab something to eat and drink at Akasha, Ford's, Honey's Kettle Chicken, Father's Office, Lukshon or City Tavern. Don't forget to hit the Coolhaus shop for some ice cream sandwich madness. After, pick up kitchen goodies at Surfas.
