In our first-ever Pizza survey, plenty of folks pointed out that they like scarfing slices not just for the taste, but for the price. Pizza is cheap, and if you're in the area of NYC surrounding Penn Station and Port Authority, it's dirt cheap. There are numerous places where you can score a plain slice for $1 - and even a few where the price drops to $.75. But, do these inexpensive slices deliver, or is this a case of "you get what you pay for" in the worst way? We made the rounds in Midtown and tried seven slices - check out the results of our smackdown below (listed least to most favorite), and let us know your go-to source for cheap pizza in the comments.
