Burger King Rolling Out Bacon Sundaes Nationwide on Thursday

Need proof that rampant, obnoxious, out of control foodie-ism is taking over the world? Burger King is offering up a new menu item that plays on both the sweet-savory and bacon trends (that were oh-so-hot in NY five years ago) - behold: the bacon ice-cream sundae. Yes, Burger King is rolling out this new limited time only menu item on Thursday, June 14 as well as a slew of other LTO items. The full summer menu lineup will also include the following:

• Memphis Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich
• Carolina BBQ Whopper or Chicken Sandwich
• Texas BBQ Whopper or Chicken Sandwich
• Sweet potato fries
• Frozen Lemonade

You can enjoy these summer menu items until September 3, or "while supplies last." [via AP]
