Beer Belly and The Park's Finest Join Forces for Fourth of July

If you don't have a bbq to go to next Wednesday, hit Beer Belly in Koreatown for its second annual Backyard Boogie. Courtesy The Park's Finest, the Filipino-American bbq from Echo Park, plates will be piled with pulled pork, hot links, coconut beef, chicken, rice, veggies and the famous Ann's cornbread bibingka, a slightly coconut-y cornbread. The cost is still being worked out, but it's usually around $10-$15 a plate, and buckets of craft beer cans are 4 for $12. The party runs from noon to 5 PM, but go early as the food tends to run out (though they promise to bring more this year). Beer Belly is at 532 South Western Avenue.
