Vinoteca Staff Shuffles

So we told you Vinoteca was getting a Soho home, right? Well, news reaches us that the restaurant will be up and running from May 14 at 53-55 Beak Street - and reservations are already available. Will Leigh, currently head chef at the Marylebone branch will be heading things up in Soho, leaving a space in Marylebone, which is going to be filled by Daniel Richards. Richards has most recently been working as head chef at Wapping Food, but his experience also includes stints at The Gallery at Sketch, Lola's and St. John. Expect to see dishes along the lines of wild sea trout with samphire, cucumber and capers, and English rose veal chop, chicoria, shallot and anchovy. Meanwhile, over in the original Farringdon outpost, things are also being shaken up a little as John Cook, an old Vinoteca alumnus with a CV that includes the Zetter, The Eagle and most recently Kentish Canteen, takes over as head chef (020 3544 7411).
