Returning for the second year in response to public demand, Lucques hosts a lamb roast on May 21. The three-course meal features spit-roasted Windrose Farm lamb with rosemary, thyme and salsa verde served with potato, green garlic and fava gratin and runs $75 per person (meal only). Meanwhile, A.O.C. is planning its first paella night on May 24. On offer alongside the main event will be tapas such as fried baby artichokes with fried octopus and honey aioli and roasted apricots with manchego, arugula and Pedro Ximénez (white grapes) as well as a dessert of vanilla flan with Spanish chocolate and almond “besos.” Paella night costs $50 per person (meal only), with a variety of Spanish wines will be on offer for potential pairing; advance reservations aren’t required, but may be procured by calling 323-653-6359.
