SoHo House Expanding to Chicago, Toronto and Other Markets

Scenesters in Chicago, Toronto and three other international locations should prepare to feel envy. That's what folks who were denied membership to the SoHo House in NYC and LA have been dealing with ever since the locations of this hotel / private club debuted in their cities. The organization has announced that five new locations will open by the end of 2014 -  in addition to the two new North American outposts, there will be outposts in Mumbai, Istanbul and Barcelona.

If the NYC digs are any indication, the new locales should come equipped with bars and restaurants that are hot draws. SoHo House Chicago, which is slated to open in the Spring of 2014 in an old warehouse on Green Street. The party at this joint is going to be on the roof, which will feature a glass-enclosed bar and kitchen, along with an outdoor deck with a 60-foot pool. The property will feature a total of three restaurants, including Pizza East, a new burger concept and a new chicken concept.


SoHo House Toronto will also bring some food and beverage options to the city - it's slated to open this fall in a building that was one of the city's first hotels. It will contain at least two food and beverage options, including a bar and lounge on the roof and a drink spot on the second floor dubbed Pretzel Bell Bar Lounge, which is named after a tavern that originally operated at this address. Sounds swell, now you just need to figure out how to score a membership and you're all set.
