German Summer Brewfest, happening on June 1 from 6:30-10:30 PM at the Sherborn Inn in Sherborn.
Admission gets you a five-oz. keepsake beer mug and a tasting of upwards of 60 different brews by more than a dozen local craft breweries, including John Harvard's, Jack’s Abby Brewing, Pretty Things, Clown Shoes and Narragansett. “If you don’t like one, you throw it away and try another one,” says Ed Rose, president of Sherborn Business Association, the sponsor of the event.
Live music by The Back Pages Band and authentic German food for purchase is part of the fun. Proceeds benefit the Sherborn Community Action Fund. Tickets are $25 in advance (or ($30 at the door) and can be purchased at Rose’s Automotive, 26 North Main Street, Sherborn; the Sherbon Inn; Sherborn Wine & Spirits, 29 North Main Street; Sherborn Market, 21 South Main Street; and Walgreens, 19 North Main Street.
