It’s the last week to visit alfresco food haven Madison Square Eats at Worth Square, open from 11 AM to  9 PM through June 1st. Visitors will find booths from dozens of NYC foodie favorites, including Eataly, Hot Blondies Bakery, Roberta’s Pizza, Mexicue, plus charming outdoor seating bedecked with Marimekko umbrellas and white twinkle lights. Wednesday

Top Chef Season Nine contestant Ty-Lör Boring returns to NoLita culinary salon City Grit for three evenings beginning tonight. The four-course tasting menu is a test run for the chef’s upcoming Asian BBQ eatery, featuring dishes like black cardamom braised country pork ribs served with Texas toast with pickled vegetables. The evening costs $95 per person or $485 for a table of six, with a selection of wine and beer available for an additional cost.


Thursday

Edible Manhattan and Slow Food NYC team up at Gallery 151 tonight to celebrate the pop-up art space’s current exhibit “Eat What You Are” featuring various interpretations of society’s relationship with food. At 6 PM panelists including New Amsterdam Market Founder & President Robert LaValva and Bedell Cellars CEO Trent Preszler will discuss the role art can play in the Slow Food movement, with a dinner of local fare to follow at 8 PM at Alison Eighteen. Friday

Bon Appetit’s Grub Crawl series comes to Brooklyn for the weekend, with three days of tours in three of the borough’s most food-centric neighborhoods. Tonight’s takes place from 6:30-10:30 PM around Carroll Gardens, with stops planned at Clover Club for punch making with cocktail savant Julie Reiner, seasonal crostini in the garden at Frankies/Prime Meats, Southern food and libations at Seersucker, and sweets at Treats Truck.

Saturday sees six stops in Williamsburg followed by a concert and cocktails at The Knitting Factory and Sunday, the crawl heads to Red Hook. See the complete list of participating restaurants and purchase tickets here.

Saturday/Sunday

61 Local hosts their inaugural bike ride food tour in Red Hook today from 11 AM-3 PM this Saturday, and it’s free! Participants need only arrive with wheels and a helmet (required), plus cash for eats like chocolate confections at Cacao Prieto, a barrel tasting and tour at Red Hook Winery, and lunch at 61 Local.

Lower Eastsider Ed’s Lobster Bar Annex is hosting Summer Seafood weekends on the back patio. On Saturdays, $25 buys you fresh seafood hot off the grill from 3-9 PM, and on Sundays their lobster boil clambake with baskets of fresh mussels, steamers, lobster, and a glass of sauvignon blanc runs $34. Feast for a good cause at the Crawfish Boil for a Song benefit from 4-8 PM both Saturday and Sunday along the East River in Stuyvesant Cove Park. $100 buys you four hearty servings of New Orleans-style crawfish, served with Abita Beer and popular NOLA cocktail, the Hurricane. All proceeds go to benefit musical education program Kids Need a Melody.
