London Food and Dining Events: Tea at Nobu, Street Feast and More

We are planning to eat our way through the second half of the week. Here's how:

Book now to secure your place at Bukhara London - the pop-up Indian restaurant arriving at the Sheraton Park Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge from May 17 for two weeks only. The world-renowned restaurant is a must stop for dignitaries, celebrities and foodies visiting New Delhi. And now for a short while you can enjoy chef Manjit Gill's signature dishes including murgh malai kebab (creamy chicken kebab) and dal bukhara (a combination of whole black lentils, tomatoes, ginger and garlic slow-cooked over coals for 18 hours) here in London.

Traditional English high tea gets a Japanese makeover at Nobu Berkeley where cucumber sandwiches are replaced with smoked salmon sashimi served with wasabi sour cream, donuts are made from green tea and filled with creamy yuzu curd, and the tea is herbal.

Find all your favourite food trucks and stalls at Street Feast - the new Friday night food market (5 PM-midnight) off Brick Lane, which launches tonight until July 20. There's also an outdoor cocktail bar and interactive live art displays. And if you don’t trust the weather, reserve a spot in the converted car-wash dining room.

Hackney Homemade takes place today from 11 AM-4 PM showcasing mouthwatering culinary delights all made by people living locally. Stock up on everything from sausages to British cheeses, authentic Creole bread and homemade apple juices and jams.

Enjoy a Bank Holiday Sunday roast that has been cooked by someone else at Kosher Roast. Don’t miss the slow roast lamb shank with juniper and pink peppercorn at the pop-up spot in town only for the long weekend.
