Eric Ripert's Le Bernardin continues to add to its luster with a re-review from Pete Wells in this week's NY Times dining section. Of course, Ripert's eatery is already the best in the Big Apple according to our 2012 New York City Restaurants survey, so is it any surprised that Wells re-affirmed its four-star rating? He calls the fare, along with the restaurant's redesigned interior, "up-to-date, lively, intimate and playful." He calls out the desserts from pastry chef Laurie Jon Moran and the wine service from Aldo Sohm. Receiving accolades like this is nothing new for the restaurant, which has been awarded four starts ever since it's first review back in 1986. And now it's Wells' turn - check out the full review here.
