Great Gathering of Chefs Hits Town on June 5

Like to hobnob with chefs? Well, on June 5, you can rub elbows with 150 of them at the Great Gathering of Chefs, an annual gathering that raises money for Action Against Hunger. Toques like Eric Ripert, Michael White and Daniel Boulud will be on hand to sign copies of Street Eats, a new cookbook by Alan "Battman" Batt (who took the photo above). Once the signing is complete, it's time to eat -  20 restaurants like Osteria Morini, Sho and Telepan will be on hand to offer bites, which will be paired with a selection of beer. The shindig happens at the Prince George Ballroom and costs $125 per person - get tickets and more info here.
