It's DAT time again, as in Dine Around Town, San Francisco's answer to restaurant week, in which over 100 restaurants - high-end and low-brow - entice diners with prix fixe bargains ($17.95 for two-course lunches or $34.95 for three-course dinner). Whether you think it's a gimmick or not, DAT does allow diners to get in the door of some of their bucket-list restaurants. Over 111 restaurants are participating in this summer's event - which will take place June 1-15 - and the time to reserve is now. The website began taking rezzies today.
