Claw Bringing Lobster Roll To Hell's Kitchen Today

Lobster roll at Claw
Those living in Hell's Kitchen know that it's a culinary wasteland, at least as far as lobster rolls are concerned. The Luke's Lobster truck never stops by and there's not really an eatery in the hood that serves up a decent version. Well, that's about to change today with the opening of Claw, the second location of a Hamptons-inspired seafood shack that dishes out goodies like fries and lobster mac 'n' cheese along with its signature rolls, which stand apart from other versions in the city since they are served with warm lobster.

The joint is taking over the narrow space that used to house Rice 'n' Beans. The 25 seat eatery will offer full-service and unlike it's Chelsea counterpart, a list of wine and beer to pair with the grub. It opens today, stop by at 744 Ninth Avenue (212-581-8400).
