Chopped's Ted Allen Comes to San Francisco Tonight to Dish

You don't want to see Ted Allen angry.
If you ever want to get up close and personal with a Food Network star, this is your chance. Chopped host (and former Queer Eye for the Straight Guy personality) Ted Allen comes to the San Francisco this week to dish and promote his new cookbook In My Kitchen: 100 Recipes and Discoveries for Passionate Cooks.
Allen, who picked up himself two James Beard Awards this month, will be in conversation tonight with TV-personality-in-his-own-right Joey Altman. Tomorrow, he'll be leading a cooking demo and book signing at Williams-Sonoma on Tuesday.

Tickets for this evening’s talk, which will be held at the Jewish Community Center, are still available. (7 PM, 3200 California St.; $40 for the general public; includes a copy of Allen’s new book, $10 for students; ticket info).

Allen’s Tuesday appearance is at Williams-Sonoma in Union Square (starts at 12 noon; admission is free, 340 Post St.).
