Big Hospitality are reporting that the two Bistro du Vin sites in Soho and Clerkenwell have been sold to the company behind Burger & Lobster after the two restaurants generated a loss of around £330,000 in the 18 months to June last year. The current owners plan to plough the proceeds into their Malmaison and Hotel du Vin properties. Bloomberg correspondent Richard Vines has tweeted that both properties will become Burger & Lobster restaurants with a possibility that the Soho site will be ready in time for the Olympics. And the best news of all? They plan to take reservations.
