Lobster roll season is upon us - as the days get longer and the temps get warmer, our cravings for the staple dish of summer occur almost daily. We finally got our fix last night over at Luke's Lobster in the East Village - probably the freshest version of the sandwich in town right now. The lobster comes directly from Maine everyday and is tossed in a lemony, buttery sauce with just a hint of mayonnaise lining the toasted New England-style bun. Then the roll is topped with some "secret spices" which seem to take the flavor of the already delicious lobster meat over the top. If you've still never tried it - get thee to your nearest Luke's location and taste for yourself.
