According to the press release, the first food-and-beverage concessions to open will be Skewers by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto in Terminal 5 (Delta Airlines) and Wolfgang Puck Express in Terminal 7...
Other openings planned for the year:
Terminal 4: Campanile (Mark Peel); Cole’s (“Originators of the French Dip”); 8oz. Burger Bar (Govind Armstrong); L.A. Gourmet Street Truck; La Provence Patisserie & Café; Real Food Daily (vegan); and Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza; Homegirl Café & Catering.
Terminal 5: Skewers by Morimoto; Ford’s Filling Station (Ben Ford); ¡Lotería! Grill (Jimmy Shaw); Lemonade (seasonal California comfort food); Rock & Brews Concert Bar...and a Farmer’s Market featuring Monsieur Marcel gourmet market, T & Y Bakery, Magee’s House of Nuts, Light My Fire spices, Ultimate Candy Company, Bennett’s Ice Cream, and Three Dog Bakery.
Terminal 7: In addition to Wolfgang PuckExpress, expect ¡Lotería! Grill (Jimmy Shaw); The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (two locations); Seven Grand and BLD (Neal Fraser); The Counter; and Bartels’ B Grill by BOASteakhouse.
"Terminal 8:: Engine Co. No. 28 (classic American menu); Corona Bar; and Marmalade Café.
The plan to have a food truck area (with food delivered into the terminals), announced several months ago, seems to have faded away. And in terms of what's there now - McDonald's and Burger King continue to be a ubiquitous presence.
