Wish Rome a Happy Birthday With Free Booze

Pizza Roma
Prosecco. Ouzo. Free. Three words we like an awful lot, especially when they're right next to each other. First up, that bubbly stuff: head to Pizza Roma in the West Village this Saturday, April 21, where they're celebrating Rome's birthday (2765th to be exact) by offering customers who make a lunch or dinner reservation a free glass of prosecco. We're not exactly sure what that date means, but hey, we'll take it...

As for that ouzo, Greek spot Molyvos is celebrating its own 15th birthday by offering guests "15 hours of free ouzo distributed in one-hour increments" sometime in May. The boozy promo will be announced in advance here. You'll also find classic "chef's choice" dishes making appearances on the menu throughout the month, and May 10-17, the kitchen will commemorate the Greek leg of the 2012 Olympic torch relay with a daily-changing series of regional dishes (each $15, includes a paired wine).
