Sharpen those knives! Steakhouse vet Tilman Fertitta (Morton's, Chart House) has opened a new chop house close to Union Square. In the former Angelo & Maxie's space, Vic & Anthonys (named after his father and uncle) gussies up the wood-paneled digs that you find in your typical meat temple. Fertitta has some practice getting things right with this concept, Vic & Anthony's is actually the first Big Apple outpost of a chain with location in Texas, Atlantic City and Vegas. The new eatery is adorned with wine bottles from all over the world, black-and-white photos and chandeliers - Fertitta chopped this space down into four rooms with serious names: the dining room, boardroom, ballroom and lounge. Though we didn't see anyone named Miss Scarlet, you'll have to forgive us for thinking we landed in a game of Clue.
What do they serve? The massive glass display of lobster and steak out front should answer any questions. Vic & Anthony's is now open at 233 Park Ave. S.
