In recent years he's been hailed as a genius, and his restaurant in Copenhagen has gathered a number of accolades proclaiming it the best in the world. We're talking, of course, of René Redzepi and Noma.
Rather excitingly, in the same way that Thomas Keller launched a pop-up version of French Laundry at Harrods, this summer Redzepi will be popping up in Claridge's Ballroom in the form of 'A Taste of Noma at Claridge’s.' For 10 days, Redzepi, who will be in the kitchen the whole time, will be offering a five-course menu that reflects his signature flavours and dishes from Noma, using local, seasonal British ingredients. The menu will be available for both lunch and dinner in Claridge’s Ballroom from July 28 to August 6 and is priced at £195 per person.
