The typically hard-to-impress restaurant critic Michael Bauer dished out a big-ole compliment in this Sunday's
San Francisco Chronicle, where he upgrades Michael and Lyndsey Tusk's three-year old Downtown restaurant from 3.5 stars to a
perfect 4. According to Bauer, Quince now joins the ranks of
Benu,
Chez Panisse,
Coi,
Cyrus,
The French Laundry,
La Folie,
Manresa and
The Restaurant at Meadowood.
