Two big food TV premieres went down last night - the first was the return of
Anthony Bourdain's
No Reservations, which kicked off with a food tour of Mozambique. It was certainly one of the most beautifully-shot episodes we can remember - Bourdain focused on the cultural struggles of the country's people and how centuries of colonialism has made Mozambique cuisine a true melting pot of influences.
Also making its TV debut last night (although this one is brand new) was
Meat Men on the Food Network, a docu-series following NYC celebrity meat man, Pat LaFrieda Jr. and his father, Pat Sr. On episode one, we watch Pat Jr. prepare a custom blend for NYC chef
Michael White's first-ever burger. For more details click
