New York's 8 Best Thai Restaurants

Last week, acclaimed Portland chef Andy Ricker made a big splash in Brooklyn with the opening of Pok Pok, an outpost of his critically acclaimed restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. The crowds were already lining up outside the door, but will his take on Northern Thai be enough to rank this spot as one of NYC's best? The competition is pretty fierce. In the slideshow below, we rounded up the Big Apple's eight best Thai joints from our 2012 New York City Restaurants Guide. Think his eatery will make the cut?

If you think other Thai restaurants should be on this list, don't forget to vote for your favorites in our latest NYC Restaurants survey right here.

  1. I've travelled a few times to Bangkok....leaving Wondee Siam off this list pretty much invalidated this reviewer.

  2. Zabb City on E 13th Street has the best Thai food I've eaten in NYC. I haven't tried Sripraphai.
