East Coast Grill in Cambridge. The seafood barbecue joint, started by Chris Schlesinger (License to Grill, The Thrill of the Grill, Grill It) 25 years ago, is changing hands and starting Saturday lunch service on April 28.
The new owners comprised of a three person team consisting of executive chef Jason Heard, front-house manager Robin Greenspan and James Lozano. The owners are keeping the same cuisine - fiery barbecue and fresh seafood with Caribbean flair - while adding some dishes of their own. New lunch items will include a crispy fried Delta catfish po’boy; a housemade veggie patty with alfalfa sprouts; and a pork belly sandwich.
