Get ready for a two-month stretch of Phantom Gourmet parties that will fill your bellies and do good at the same time.

To kick off the Phantom's eating fest season, head to Phan Night on May 9 at Howl at the Moon piano bar in the Financial District. Chefs Paul Wahlberg (Alma Nove), Lydia Shire (Towne, Scampo), Andy Husbands (Tremont 647), Tony Ambrose and Jasper White (Summer Shack) will offer their creative versions of America’s fave baseball buddy, the hot dog, along with other dishes (6-9 PM; $50 per person).

But wait, there’s more!

The admission to Phan night will also get you into the Phantom Gourmet’s 23rd annual Hot Dog Safari, a family-friendly event held on May 19 outdoors on Lansdowne Street, and their hot, hoppin’ BBQ Beach Party June 22-24 on Boston’s City Hall Plaza (noon-4 PM; visit the Phantom Gourmet website or e-mail don@phantomgourmet.com, or call 617-746-8328 for info and tickets).

Proceeds from Phan Night and the Hot Dog Safari will benefit The Joey Fund, which works in partnership with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to support research for a cure for the disease and to support the families of children with cystic fibrosis. Purchase tickets and find out more information here.
