...And you thought
peanut butter and jelly-flavored vodka sounded gross. Direct out of Wasilla, Alaska, hometown of Sarah Palin, and just in time for 4/20 (insert clever euphemistic joke here), Alaska Distillery is introducing a
hemp-flavored vodka called "Purgatory." The distillery, which also produced a smoked salmon-flavored vodka two years ago, argues that in the vodka market, you've gotta think outside of the box to stay competitive. Purgatory is now available in 18 states as of this week with 9 more signed up and recently won a "Hot New Spirits" award in Vegas last month. While we have no idea how drinking this vodka makes you feel, we can't imagine that a hemp-flavored vodka is all that tasty. Would you try it? Let us know in the comments.
