A Faux Pas Coming to Third and Fairfax

Doesn't look like a faux pas.
The already busy (heck...gridlocked!) intersection of Third Street and Fairfax Avenue, in the heart of the Fairfax District, may well be on the verge of becoming the single busiest intersection in Los Angeles. Joining the Original Farmers Market, The Grove, Whole Foods and a soon-to-open Trader Joe's is Faux Pas Bistro, a name that's certainly...gutsy.

Designed by Spacecraft Group and operated by United Culinary Artists, the restaurant is scheduled to open in early May, and its "American-French" menu made with "California-based ingredients" will include the likes of onion soup, mac 'n' cheese, chicken cordon bleu, sea bass almondine, croque monsieur and pizzettes. It will be open till 12:30 AM weekday and 1:30 AM weekends. And there's plenty of shopping just across the street. But with traffic increasing logarithmically, good luck getting there.
