Cooking Matters: Top Boston Chefs Team Up in the Name of Nutrition

You know cooking matters.

Just check out how nine of the city’s top chefs can come together to create a delectable eight-course feast to support one cause: the 15th Annual Cooking Matters Massachusetts, a Share Our Strength event that raises money for nutrition-based cooking classes for low-income families.

The dinner will be held April 23 at Tremont 647 in the South End. Chef-owner Andy Husbands will host and prepare the amuse of tiny pulled pork sandwiches with Lexington slaw.

Among the guest chefs are Josh Ziskin (La Morra), Ming Tsai (Blue Ginger), Gordon Hamersley (Hamersley’s Bistro), Tiffani Faison (Sweet Cheeks), Susan Abbott (Rialto) and Celina Tio (Julian, Kansas City). The eight courses are paired with five wines (6 PM; $150 per person. 617-266-4600).
