Vernick Food & Drink, a Euro-style bistro from Jean-Georges and Clio alum Greg Vernick. We’ve now got hold of the opening menu for the upscale neighborhooder, and though it’s concise, there are several dishes that excite us, including a whole section called “on toast” that is dedicated to bruschetta/tartines. Under “raw,” arctic char is served with crispy skin, and small plates include potato ravioli with braised lamb and fava beans ($6-$15). On the other side, hungrier diners (and those with deep pockets) can look for large, shareable roasts from the wood-fired oven, including a dry-aged strip loin ($68) and an organic Amish chicken that we hope is delicious enough to merit its $45 price tag.
