This past weekend the craving for sugar hit, and luckily,
La Churreria was nearby. At $6 for six churros and a hot chocolate, not only is it economical (did we mention it's
Cheap Eats week?), but it was a satisfying snack to fight against the unexpected evening chill. Made
right on the spot, once dipped in the rich chocolate this indulgent snack transcends any of the versions we've tried at theme parks...or on subway platforms. Light, crispy and warm, these are churros done right.
